What Is an EPC?
An Energy Performance Certificate is a document that gives information about the energy performance of a building. It also provides recommendations for improving energy performance and reducing energy consumption. An EPC must be carried out by an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), who will inspect the property and compile a report based on their findings. The report will include ratings for energy efficiency, environmental impact, fuel costs, and recommendations for improvement.
